Great long run down the SGM course.  AP 7:54 - We went all the way to the start in Central and ran til mile marker 5 just above SG. I ran the first half a little more relaxed and it was fun to chat and catch up with my friend that moved last year. We missed our first water drop and I had dropped my Nathan Water bottle at that one, so i didn't have it for the run. We caught up to the other girls at the gas station in Veyo at mile 7 and they gave us a drink. Luckily my Gu was in my pockets. I had a GU at mile 7, then mile 14.  We did find our other water stops, so that was good.  At around 12 miles, I decided to try to get a few tempo miles in since I missed the tempo run this week. I was going to tempo 5-6 miles around a 7:20 pace, but I felt really great, so I decided to keep going and then went a little more relaxed for the last mile.  This was a definate confidence booster for the marathon.  However, the left side of my left leg is really hurting now.  During the run, I felt a tiny pain on the side of my left ankle.  Didn't hurt too bad during the run or even after until the next morning when I got up and it felt worse.  I think it may be a tendon there on the left side of my leg that is inflamed - frustrating!  I will take a few days off and ice it and not do any more tempo running this next week.
