Wellsville Ridge XC ski today.  Probably last day of the year for it, pretty wet snow.  I registered a running club up here in Logan with USATF looking to get some others interested in running together more.  We have a small little group and get a few good trail runs in here and there, but it would be nice to get some people to push each other.  Anyhow, I registered four Boston Marathon Teams and with the help of some FRB folks we have some pretty good teams for this race.

I've been reading your blog. What kind of marathon training are you doing man? Surfing? Snowshoeing? Wake up and smell the coffee! You've got to run! I was a miler back in the 60s and 70s and I averaged 100/week.

We're talking about a MARATHON here. Have you ever run one?

I'm not marathon training. I'm training for a Tough Mudder.

Quintus (really?) - all you have to do is peruse through the last few years of Steve's blog to see that the traditional rules of diet, training, and racing don't apply to him. I'm not kidding, he's made of different genetic material.

Rob! Come on give me some credit. :-) Actually this year I've just been too much into too many other things. I need to get some focus.

Great teams for Boston!

Steve, we all live vicariously through your adventures...loving the pics and stories but glad we are as crazy as you! ;) Living life large, my friend, with no apologies.

They are great teams. The Men's Open is awesome.

Once in a while with running you have to recognize when the usual isn't working and just let it go. Been a good break for me.
