Left the campground this morning and went down the canyon for the race.  I really didn't want to do this one since I had not ran anything under a 5:30 pace since last year so I knew I was going to get my butt kicked.  I was excited to see Dennis Simonatis because he is running so well this year so of course he took me to school today!

I ran the first mile just above a 5 min pace and then it hurt so bad I didn't pay attention to it again!  I think the average was just about a 5:20 but it felt like a 7 min pace.  Fun course and cool to do something shorter!

Wow steve, Great run! Mr. Dominator for the Maters. Dennis is a force for sure, I think hes going to have his hands full with some talent coming in. Everyone is getting so fast for a bunch of "old folk" lol
