Not sure of the race time or place. I have not seen results posted for this one. Still attempting to run with this tendon problem, but facing the obvious-you end up racing like you train so if you can't train you are slow! I couldn't miss this one though. It is such a fun course. The first mile went by pretty fast at 4:43 and the next mark I looked at was the 5k at 15:07 so it was a fast course. I felt great but kept getting sharp pains shooting up my calf from the tendon so I walked it for half a mile or so. It felt like it was doable around mile 4 and come on, it's downhill! So I gave it a shot again and caught back up to Rob. That was fun but I kept getting visions of something bad happening so I walked it some more. I think my time was about 34:40 I'll have to check it out when results are posted. This is the third messed up race in a row, so it's time off for a bit. |
