5 easy miles in Denver followed by some weight training.  This has been a hard week.  I have work until Friday night with no way of getting out of it and a marathon on Saturday morning in Duluth.  I have spent the week trying to decide if I can even run the marathon since I just can't seem to get the kick back into my legs.  Probably too much mileage after Ogden last month, I don't know.  This week has been simply recovery runs and 12 hour days at work.  I don't seem to have it physically and mentally together for this marathon.

Good luck whatever you decide Steve. Marathons are definitely easier if you are 100% physically ready and mentally committed. I'm wrapping up my vacation today - I think I've gained 5 pounds of flab this week with vacation eating coupled with the post marathon recovery week.
