Leopards 5K in Salt Lake.  I barely made it up to the starting line in time because I was trying to get a warm up in this morning.  But a very fun course!  I took about 4 Motrins before the race hoping to deaden out the accident from Thursday and thankfully didn't even feel it!  Since some of the race was downhill I ran in my "Fat Man" shoes, Assics Gel Kayanos.  First time I ran a 5K in shoes that heavy but I didn't want to hit downhills today in flats.  The first mile went pretty fast, I was stuck in a large group of people I was trying to get around though.  I knew I had to try and catch Rob who I knew would be running somewhere around a 5 minute pace, but I never saw him.  I tried to catch the 4 guys ahead but they took off on the last mile and left me.

Nice job, especially for getting hit by a car the other day. I guess it just made you mad...

Thanks guys. As you know, it's hard to run a 5K when you've been running more distance than anything. I think I like just running long and slow anymore! Scott, I think I saw you at the Sports Academy the other day when I was working out. You have a membership there?

Nice job on the race. It's always a scary thing when a pilot mentions an accident, so I had to go read about it. Man that's scary! At least you made the guy cry.
