We ran the cemetary route. I was planning on running the whole 7 miles, however, my ankle started hurting a mile in. I decided to run the shorter 5 mile route and my ankle was hurting the whole time. I'm disappointed but hopefully new shoes with more support will help.  I will look into that tonight after work.

6 sets of crunches, 6 sets of 10 girl pushups.

Tuesday night workout. I got new shoes the day before. I like them and now they'll help my pronation (is that what it is?). 2 mile warm up, speed changes, four 800s, 2 mile cool down. My ankle felt alright. On the slanted hills at Sugarhouse I could feel it a little.

3 sets of 25 crunches, 3 sets of 10 girl pushups and 6 minutes to a six pack workout.

Cottonwood complex. 2 mile warm up, and a lot of dreaded hills. My ankle began bothering me on the hills and then really badly once we got into the middle of them. I finished all of the hills and shortened the cool down where it was still hurting. Today I begin taking a lot of ibuprofen. Grrr. I wish I could just be healthy!!

I didn't attend morning practice. My grandmother didn't think it would be a good idea if I was running tonight because of my ankle. I agreed.

I took two 800s of ibuprofen yesterday and two today as well. For tonight's team 4k, my ankle felt pretty normal. My other one, the right one, felt a little strange however. I leave for Idaho tomorrow and will not run this weekend. Hopefully by giving it a few days of rest and only alittle activity, it can recover. The race went alright, I just felt really tired. This season is going to be very good for both teams and I'm excited! We did our team cheer tonight and it got me pumped for this fall. Go East XC!
