AM-10 miles with 8x1k at 10k-half marathon intensity. 5:33-5:57/mile pace with 1:30 recovery jog. 7th/13th o/b.  A good productive workout this morning and definitely a bread and butter one for me..

PM-No run.  Good news.. I have a job now! And also.. Inspired by Jason D I am now starting my own vintage audio restoration business. The next move will be to get into restoring and building guitar/audio amplifiers. Things are now looking up for a change I think.

AM-16 miles with 2x4 up and down Cottonwood Heights/Ft Union blvd at 5:27-6:19/mile.  One mile easy recovery pace between sets. Getting stronger and stronger now with the hamstring/glute issues pretty much gone.

PM-Easy 3 mile jog this afternoon.  No watch.  So slow I got passed by some guy with a kid in a stroller.. 

Went out and bought some Blue Diamond smokehouse almonds because between the honeybee crisis and water shortage in California I'm not sure that they will be around next year.   At least at a decent price that is.. From what I have read it takes a GALLON of water per almond to raise them up.  I only hope that it's not an accurate assesment.  All of this reminds me of the dust bowl during the 1930s.
