Personal:

Married for 44 years to a wonderful and supportive wife. She's run 2 marathons herself in our earlier years so that helps.  4 boys, all married, and 10 grandchildren.  2 sons are runners. I celebrated 39 years of running madness, insanity, or at least OCD, on August 23rd, 2021.

7:30 a.m. Gold's Gym: 40 minutes upright cycling. 11.5 miles.

10:00 a.m. 5 miles easy with Pickles. Sunny, but cold. Skyline route to gate and back via Loma Vista and Upland. 5 dog encounters today. Glad Pickles was nice to ...4 of them, at least. All little dogs going after my black lab. What are they thinking? No, what are their owners thinking?

9:00 a.m. Gold's Gym - St. George. 3x15x8 machines upper body weights. 20 minutes recumbent cycling.

11:15 a.m. Ivins. 5 miles easy with Pickles. 47:49. Down to the Santa Clara cemetery and back by way of Old Highway 91 to Main up to 400 S. finishing with loop in Padre Lakes. Sunny and clear. 45 degrees and warming.

9:00 a.m. Ivins, UT. 12 miles up into Snow Canyon to end of paved pathway including 2 on the West Canyon service road. 1:45:31. 10.5 miles with Rick, then he put nearly 3 minutes on me in the last 1.5 miles. 40 degrees and cloudy. Still beats the weather and gunk up north. Another week here in St. George will do me some good!
