Trying to salvage the week with a nice long run.  Headed to the LPT where I saw Kathie.  Actually, I was in a daze and would have missed her had she not said anything.  Glad to see her getting some good mileage in.  The miles on the LPT went well.  Kept the pace around 7:30-7:45.  Got off the LPT at Glover and headed to Main Street.  This is where the run got ugly.  My ankles were really bothering me and I was unable to get a decent push off.  Pace drifted above 8:00/mile for a few miles.  Stopped at Smoot park for a drink of water and a GU and that seemed to jump start my body.  Felt a lot better so I picked up the pace.  Ran the last mile in 7:13 just for fun.  It was a little more difficult than it should have been.  Wore a singlet so that I could do something about my farmer tan.  It rubbed my arms raw.  Very, very sore.

Nice job, but too bad about the raw arms.

You'll have to keep us apprised on the farmer tan results. I hope your body has no additional niggles after a somewhat rough week. Rachelle joined the x country UVM team...
