I woke up and really did not want to go running. I almost bagged it but decided to drag myself out of bed and drive up just run with the club with out any extra mileage. I got there a few minutes early so I got in a quick mile. Trevor wanted to run the entire route this week which was good because instead of running the first 2.5 hard then backing off I was able to run a good consistent effort the entire run. After a slow first mile, we maintained a little slower than 7:00/mile the rest of the way. It was a good effort and felt really good. I'm glad I convinced myself to go. |
