Our family is complete with 4 sweet girls. Now it's time for me to shed the weight and get back into running shape for good. I'm ready to work at it again in 2017!

Long-term running goals, Sub 3 hour marathon and 1:20 half marathon.

I'm married to my great husband Riley Cook. He helps me accomplish my running goals. We have 4 daughters Evelyn, Hannah, Nora, and Iris I'm also excited to be running for Utahrunning.com.

I ran on the treadmill at the gym today. I had some "hicks" kicking up so I switched to the bike for a little while.

I went to the gym and started off on the bike because the treadmills were being used. I did 20 minutes on the bike then was able to switch to the treadmill. I was feeling good today, no braxton hicks or other pregnancy pains so I decided to do a 1 mile time trial. I just wanted to see if I could still feel good running one mile under 8 minute pace. I warmed up one mile, then did a faster mile on the treadmill, I put the treadmill at 1.5% incline and boosted the speed up to 7:30 pace. I ran the majority of the run at 7:30 pace then the last .3 at 6:58 pace. I didn't pay to much attention to time but I think I was around 7:20ish for my fast mile. Cooled down one more mile after that.As soon as I stopped running I suddenly had to pee and almost went in my shorts. Close call. I was pretty happy with the mile, I felt good and in control. (28-29 weeks preggo)
