| | Nice easy run in South Weber
PM run: Pushed the kids in the stroller with Sariah while her son rode his bike on the parkway with us, hoping to get Evelyn to do the same for these easy second runs.

| | I went to the gym this morning to run on the treadmill but only made it 22 minutes in before Hannah had a melt down. There were to many kids around and she was tired so I'll try later this afternoon after she's had a nap. AP 8:00 1.5% incline
Thankful for my sweet sister in law who watched my kids this afternoon so I could get 6.3 more miles in for the day.

| | Ran a workout early this morning, it was really hard to get out of bed. 10x600 with 1:30 jog in between. I was trying to hit 5:35 pace which is 2:05. Started with a 2.18 mile warm up. There was wind this morning in South Weber which isn't a surprise so I picked a loop that had the least amount it wasn't to bad. Splits: 2:06, 2:03, 2:06, 2:02, 2:05, 2:04, 2:04, 2:04, 2:04, 2:04. Finally found a rhythm the last half of my intervals.
another easy 3.6 miles mid morning

Striders 10 Miler (10 Miles) 01:06:13, Place overall: 4, Place in age division: 1 | | Wow that was a tough course! I was definately hurting. I don't know if I would've run as fast if I didn't have Dave and Jason running with me as part of their easy run for the week. Thanks Dave and Jason for getting me through that! I was not good company in that race with my labored breathing but they were patient and helpful. Riley is still taking time off so he took some pictures which I'll post. I started out well and my first really big up hill on 36th street ended up being decent effort. But the next hills up 4600, and past Beus trailhead I fell off my pace and that hurt me with my overall place finish. I passed the third place girl after that then Jasmine passed me shortly after that and I couldn't catch her. I'm really happy with my overall time I was hoping for 1:07 and was well under that. Here's my splits: 6:18, 5:53, 6:19, 6:22, 7:18, 7:25, (these were the first steep miles), 8:10 (Yikes! not a good uphill mile for me.) 5:47 (downhill) 6:17, 6:39 (not a great finish I couldn't get up that last hill.) But overall happy with the effort and time. I ran this course 3 years ago and ran 1:17 so I'm definately a lot faster now then I was then. Jason and Dave running with me a week after their marathons.
ugly hills climbing up.
