I decided on Friday to run the Cotton Days 10k. Didn't really train up for it, but I had been running. Ran over with James to the start. Not very many people at all. It was a fun course all except running back up the fire station hill. I ran up half, then walked the rest. I didn't want to wear myself out and not be able to run the rest without stopping. James came back after his big win, and ran with me the last .5. Thank you James. That really helped me. I finished about 3 minutes faster than the spectrum a few months ago. I really like doing 10ks. It is a good distance for me. I had a lot of fun and am looking forward to the next one! |
