Work til 11:30 then I knew I had to get out on a run even though I reallllly didn't want to because it was so hot. Same loop. This one was my fastest one & the goal was to start out slower, gradually work my way to a decent pace then keep that pace the entire run rather than slowing down at the end. I worked on my form a lot & I think that helped sooo much. Completely awful while I was doing it, but I'm glad I ran.

Got off work early because of the 4th of July (YAY BEST HOLIDAY IS TODAY!) so I decided to take my dog out to the desert by mi casa. She was very well behaved & stuck to the trail like I asked her to. Needs to learn a little trail etiquette called not stopping in the middle of the trail to smell things, though, but other than that she was wonderful. It makes me sad I can pretty much outrun her, she's getting old...): anyway, 25 minutes nice & easy. They're tearing up the desert something awful. The entrance to get to the reserve isn't even there anymore, sad. 

20 minutes. My body & mind are struggling all around lately, but it was alright getting out there after taking yesterday off. Same loop as usual. It was hot. I can't wait til next week when I'm in the mountains & can run in nice temperatures

Just a quick one before I went to gunlock. Same loop, 20 minutes. Can feel myself getting more in shape but still have a longggg way to go. I like when I can get out early though.
