I'm a graduate from Pine View, where I was a member of the XC and Track and Field teams.  I loved being a Panther.  I am currently up at USU, graduating in Psychology in the Spring. Not sure what I'll do after graduation...I love spending time outside-hiking, camping, and running.  I love the simple things that make life wonderful :)

am-very good day of running. we had 12 girls together practically the whole time! how freaking sick is that. that makes me so so so happy!!! we ran into pioneer parkway and had 2x5 min of easy tempo 2x7 min of tempo and 1x5 at threshold. the easy tempo was very hard for me cause we were running up the hills...but the second half was so so strong and I am very happy. Robs wise words of the day, "you just gotta believe and remember that you can do this" also kinda bummed cause my watch told me 10 laps so I guess I accidentally lapped it one time but I thought I ran 10 miles but I didn't but I guess it's fine. 80 min

pm-well, scary day at the school.  some kid lit a bomb...so we couldnt have practice.  what a bust.  but, i actually really enjoyed the run by my myself.  each of my miles were under 8 as i just ran some stuff out of my mind haha.  it was a much needed break to truly think and ponder whats happening in my life 

also, its a new day high for miles so thats very happy as well, i feel like im finally back into things becoming stronger everyday.  ALSO, last day of shoulder physical therepy!  i get to start lifting very very very light weights :( that is a bummer lol like no weight on squat or dead lifts...ugh haha

am-20 min good run

pm-workout 2x1200 and 2x(2x400, 600) everyone seemed to be freaking out before cause it was so hard. but I really really enjoyed it. the future was very strong and we we're definitely within range every time. It felt good and very strong. Excited for racing..it seems like it's come so so so so so fast! like idk haha so crazy but I'm ready for a very good season :) also had hill circuts. I really pushed those today it felt real good.

am-weights and run.

pm-somehow I won our game of rock paper scissors to determine which direction we went haha chose Middleton not many were very happy lol. But I had fun it was a good solid run. it doesn't really feel like track meets are starting tomorrow. But they are I'm excited :)

ran the first race of the season! our first lap was real slow and i never really picked it up I seemed to always be boxed in when I had a surge in me but, I never really acted or tried. So I'm glad to know I have DEFINITELY more in me.

ran the 3200 today! I tried to work on quick steps and making each step count. That really really helped me stay focused. I'm ready to keep pushing myself. Today was a lot better than yesterday so that was good :) I'm excited to be running.
