Ran 5 miles in 34:38, 6:56 average.  Felt comfortable.

Grabbed 16 lb. weight vest at home and went out for trial jog. Added another 2 miles with vest in 15:26, 7:43 average.

Don't know if I'll use this vest for jogging again.  I had to hold it while I jogged to keep it from bouncing too much, wish I could tighten it more somehow.

I ran in a weight vest once and had the same problem. I figure that the extra weight is probably not good for your joints anyways!

Just gain some weight. That will help hold it tight. Wait, then you wouldn't need a weight vest.

Burt-

I'm 6 feet flat and fluctuate within 4-5 pounds of 160. I probably look pretty fat next to some of the more dedicated runners.

Andrea-

Thanks for the advice, I agree with you about the joints not wanting the extra weight.
