Ran 4 miles up Milcreek Canyon and the 4 back down.

Used the up as a decent hill run and the downhill as a threshold run.

Time up was 30:42, 7:40 average.

Time down was 21:46, 5:27 average.

Total time of 52:28.

Lost focus a couple of times on the tempo run down, let the pace slow too much. Feel like I could have knocked off another 30-45 seconds.  Did better on the last mile.  It's the flattest of the four and I was able to manage a 5:18 mile.  FOCUS!!!

Finished with a 2 mile cooldown in 15 minutes.

Nice run. I love Millcreek. Have you ever run the Pipeline trail? You should give it a whirl.

I haven't but will definitely give it a shot. Thanks for the suggestion.

Nice run... the up & down canyon workouts are good for building strength (up) and working on quick turnover (down).

Scott is right that Pipeline is a great trail... but I see rattlesnakes there EVERY TIME I am there!

Jake- Most of my friends that run it a lot see them all the time too, but I have never seen one there.
