Got a new pair of shoes and was excited to go for a stroll. K-Swiss Kwicky Blade Light.  They are very comfortable.

Hard to beat 65 degrees and sunny with a slight breeze.

Did two .5 mile efforts in the last half of the run with a mile in between each.

Times were 2:30 and 2:27.

Average for all miles including repeats 6:32.

Debating on finding a 5K this weekend.

No debate - get out there and cut a cheeky little PR; you could even wear those rather sharp sounding blades that you purchased.

And tell them to comp your entry!

You should do the 5k triple-header with Allie and Fiddy! :) Beat the Heat will probably have the best competition.

oh, there are so many 5ks this weekend! i definitely recommend beat the heat. it will be tough and hilly -- but great competition. radiating hope 5k is at liberty park and will be nice and flat.
