Busy day.  Have my niece's first birthday party tonight.

My brothers came for the party, always nice to see them. One of them joined me on the run, he's a natural. I'm trying to get him to start running at least 20 miles a week.  He's just under 6' and weighs 145.

We did an easy 3 at 7 minute pace then dropped the pace for the last mile. 5:20 for me, starting to feel more comfortable running at this speed.   He managed 5:45.

Hi ACorn,

I would have to agree with Jake about the bloodline.

ACorn - thanks for telling me about the book "Daniels' Running Formula." I am learning quite a bit from that book. Usually when I buy books, I attempt to gather at least one piece of information I can use and apply for every dollar spent. I have to say, I am gathering quite a bit of information and the book was worth every dollar spent!

Thanks to you both. I am sure Jake and Andrea did a great job orating.

Pre, glad you like it. Next year I'm going to follow the schedule and hopefully set some PRs.

Hope the birthday party went well. Some snap in that last mile, Mr ACorn.
