I've recently gotten married. It's one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Since then I've slacked off on my running, hopefully this running blog will help encourage me to keep pushing.

I'm highly aggravated at myself. I'm so quick to not run, or to push myself. I keep using the excuse of not having any transportation to the Y sense I've wrecked my truck. It's not like I don't go to work. ha ha. I guess that's why I'm the "Lazy Pirate"! Today my brother in-law sent me the winning time of my age group of the race that I was going to do this past weekend. I would have won by just jogging. But I just wasn't in the mood. I'm so upset with everything right now. Here is my none productive run, with no motive or direction. This was on treadmill.

Hang in there, brother. You ran today. And that, in and of itself, is a hell of lot more productive than the likely alternatives.

You need a race to get your edge and competitive juices flowing. It doesn't have to be next week, but enter one in the near future.
