Personal:
I know a secret technique for opening mangos taught me by a Wolof sorcerer. I was briefly a political appointee at the U.N. I am intimately familiar with a disciple of David Hume.
Ouch. ITB very sore. Cross Brooks off the list. Ran in the old shoes one last time. Not much left on them, fairly unpleasant run. I think this disappointing week is done: will try and recharge Monday with a new pair.
Oh man sorry to hear about the IT band that is a bugger. In my experince with the IT band is it is cause by the Vastus Lateralis (outside quad) so get a rolling pin and work out that muscle as hard as you can stand. Icing after your runs is a good thing as well. Are you still planning on doing Moab?
I think I caught it before it got too bad, but am stretching the heck out of it, will try the rolling pin (I like that image). Thanks for the tip!
Definitely doing Moab, if only to hang out in Moab. I need a study break, anyway. We'll see if I'm in shape to put up much of a time, though. May cut down on my miles between now and then.
