Just Ran the snow canyon half.  I met up with James and off  we went to meet up with 1,500  runners.   We just made the next to the  last Bus up! What  ride! most Bus rides before  a race take forever!    We finally arrive and we have only 5 minutes to get ready.  so i take off the  clothes and take a pit stop!   (not all my clothes people)    and walk up to the starting line with  1500 other people.  all the favorites were there. NIKES,ASICS,SAUCANY,...... and of course payless!!    No warm up again! i am going to regret this tomorrow.   and bam the gun goes off.

1. 6:21 real flat  with a slight head wind!

2. 6:32  a little incline  and my hat keeps geting loose  so i  chuck it at Logan who give me a cheer! ( I  hope he picks it up) i like the hat.  Maybe my hair is too long? 

3. 6:25 still flat  time to get going, i aint getting any younger according to the woman that is pushing me! 

4. 5:56  My hamstring is wistliing Dixie. but feeling ok.

5. 6:01  my feet are on fire and it high fire alert today! 

6. 6:03  i just got chicked! Man she is moving!   I am now looking for the oxygen machine tent  I hope they have cotton candy air!!!

7. 6:15  feeling like a 46 year old grandpa  and thinking the 5 k would of been nice!

8. 7:12 who put this incline here!  like hitting the bootom of an empty pool!

9.  6:38  regaining some composer! i hope some picks up my dentures!!

10. 6:50  not looking to good.  my garmin states it is running out of memory!

11. 7:04   I need a to start riding a bike!   morre incline and turns.

12. The Garmin is history. Just hoping to hold off the guy behind me! 

13. Around the track at the HS.  trying to look good in a compromised state of mind. 

Glad to of ran today. I am greatful i can enjoy meeting with friends.   congtrats to james who came in 2 overall.  He won a Garmin!  the man is becoming a running legend , look out Dave!   Dustin ran the 5k  and took 2 overall.  He can out run 99 percent on just talent alone.

I did the 4-mile shuffle today.  Feeling real sore from the race.   I think most of the soreness is from not warming up in the proper proportions.   Lack of athletic ability and loss off general fitness.   Weight management may also have contributed to the intrinsic nature of my pain!

I woke up at 4 am to go meet the gang of St. George at 5.   not feeling the best, but we started out in the cold dark hour of 5 am.  Met up with Steve the "ghost whisperer", Dave the "white shadow", and Logan  the "bush walker." We were Just running a nice easy 7:30 pace and i was struggling the entire time.  I managed to hang onto them to the half way point.    then the cramps in the legs came.  then out of the darkness a white night appeared. to my surprise it was  "Tunafish"   We ran together for the last 2.5miles  and i was able to pick up the pace.   Not sure what the problem was  but some of it had to do with the cloths i wore.  and some of it has to do with my poor food choices. I got to remember to make better food choices if i want to perform at a higher level.
