This morning Barry and I decided to start at Century High School and run the Pocatello Marathon course the opposite direction.  Barry was only running 6 miles for his taper.  He would run three miles the opposite direction and three miles and turn around and run three miles on the marathon course.

I orignially was going to do 13 miles, six the opposite direction and six miles turning around.  But I decided to run all the way to the Pocatello Half start and then turn aroound.  When I turned around I had a nasty headwind.  Overall I ran 19.5 miles at an overall 7:06 pace in 2:17.  Good training on rolling hills portion of the course and mentally tough to know you have to turn around and run the opposite direction from what you came from.  Great to get my second longest run in since St. George.

Foot no pain at all.  It's seems to be healed, but will see.

Very happy to see continued progress! I sure hope the foot injury is now a thing of the past. By the way, your friend Barry really seems to be improving. I can't wait to see how he fare's in the upcoming 1/2.

That's great Kory. As long distance runners I think our bodies mend themselves quickly if given the opportunity. The Lord created quite the organism.

Rockness - I know Barry will do well. He looks so good, and he's helped me be patient too. I can't wait to see what the Lord is going to allow you to do in Boston.

Robert - I'm blessed and truly thank God. But I still need to be cautious and make sure I'm healed. I probably will do a cut back week this week. I'll take tomorrow off because I've ran the last 13 straight days without a day-off.
