Last night I started not to feel very good and it showed today.  I was going to run with Bill Mander and his friend today at 6am (sorry), but I slept 10 hours and got up after 9am.  I can't remember the last time that I wasn't up before 7am on a Saturday to run.  I still wasn't feeling good but I decided to go for a run.   At mile 13 I hit the wall my head was spinning, I was weak, I dressed way to warm, and to top it off I ran a mostly uphill course.   I survived the last two miles and ran 15.11 at a 7:13 pace in 1:49.  I felt like a brick and sick pretty much the whole run. My fastest mile was on a downhill at 6:14, but I really didn't care about my spilts today.  I ran from my house, down Pole Line St., up Chubbuck Rd, then up a dirt trail that leads all the wayto Satterfield St., then down Pocatello Creek Rd and back home (after zig zagging through some streets).

After I take my son to tee ball today I'm doing nothing the rest of the day until church tonight.  We have a three day conference which we got home late last night.  My wife is also sick so were a lovely couple today.

Hope you get to feeling better. Good run considering how you felt!

Kory, yes, get feeling better, all of your family. Interesting, your tough run with your disappointing time was faster than I did my speed interval miles today, and I got a 1/4 mile lap recovery between each interval mile. You are an animal whether you are well or ill. Keep up the healing.

Sorry to here about the colds. My whole household also woke up this morning with drippy noses, you have to love the change of seasons. Hope your feeling well again soon.

Colds stink! But it's better than the flu, since you can still run, although colds hang around forever. I can't believe you had a 70 mile "easy week", though.

Oh Man! I've never been so weak in my life. Rarely I'm I sick. I just barely got up from the couch where I was sleeping on and off watching College Football.

I'm hot and sore everywhere. I feel awful. Not good going into a HM race next Saturday. Luckily I won't need to run a lot next and get my strength back.

Thanks for your concerns.

The run I did today I thought I was going to pass out the last mile. This run was worst than running a marathon or the first time I ever it the Wall.

Jon - I really don't know why I did 70 miles, because my motivation is low and my burn-out is high. But I keep debating if I should run another marathon or not before the end of the year. Maybe that's why I did 70, or guess is as good as mine.

Paul Ivory - This run was awful, but I was stupid choosing a hard route knowing how I felt before I ran.

Time to lay back down.

Kory....don't worry about not running with us this morning. I hope you start feeling better.
