It was 27 degrees this morning but really didn't feel cold even though I could see the fog coming out of my mouth (ya right fog).  I ran a pretty tough course going up Tuscany Rd. and over Hospital Way.  Good hills (up/down) and I felt pretty good.  Right now running is just running for fitness and nothing more.  12.10 miles at an overall 6:53 pace in 1:23:20.

Each day I wake up and don't know how far I'm going to run.  It depends on how long my devotion is with my wife every morning.  This is the most important thing to me right now.  We live in a world where we always want a edge on something (getting preachy), but do we ever stop and recognize where God wants us to be...

Kory nice thoughts too, great running sounds like a tough course. I know were you are coming from with the important things in life, its hard with family, work, and so many other commitments along side training too Im just so glad that my husband realised if he wants to see me much he needs to come out and cycle with me but its done him great hes lost over 2 stone now ;-)

Sam - That's great about your husband. Cycling can benefit you just as much. My wife used to run about 10 miles a week, but then got a knee injury, and hasn't ran since. That's been about two years. She wanted to start running again, but she was afraid I would start to run more and become addicted again so she's held back.

This really made me look at my life and realize I did have a running problem and needed to slow down. But it's been real hard to slow down. I don't want my wife to continue to lose fitness which she already has so I have to find that balance.

Hey Kory, I understand I do also have a running addiction I get really moody If I dont run for more then 2 days, it used to be if it was a week ! but I am really trying to do what I can before I get to the age were your times start slowing down, then I will probably treat it more like fitness. I do drive my family mad as we do really want another child but I have put it off for now, and probably not sure if I will ever have more now, but I have time still.

Kory, haven't checked on you in awhile (or anyone for that matter!). Good to see you always getting a few miles and keeping an eye to where it should be. Preach on brotha!
