Ran with Barry in a windy early morning run.  We took it easy because Barry was hurting and he was there for me when I was hurting.  Barry did  10 miles and I did 14.13 miles at an overall 7:30 pace in1:46.  We went behind the paved trail behind Davis field.  I was a little sore as well.  .

Fell 4 times with a lot of road rash on my Hip and Knees and bleeding.  Ran 11.31 at an overall 7:26 pace in 1:23:58.  Took the run easy but not a bad run as far as energy wise.  I was slipping and sliding everywhere on my feet.  It was a very dangerous day to be out there on your feet with the freezing rain the night before.  I don't ever remember slipping so much.

We had freezing rain the night before causing this headache this morning on the roads.

Decent run for 14.10 miles at an overall 7:13 pace in 1:41:44.  Ran on old town Pocatello on Foothill Rd. and all the roads on that side of town.  Tried to finish the last few miles faster. (6:52, 6:57, 6:55, 6:39, 6:44)

I was surprised I didn't have much pain from all the falls yesterday.

Started to snow about half way in the run.  Did 15.21 miles at an overall 7:17 pace in 1:50:45.  Had the day-off from working most of last night with responsibilities of bring server down so that others could do maintenance on our VMware systems.

Did some computer consulting in the afternoon and made $75 towards Christmas.

Had to go to the Hospital tonight my Brother burnt himself at work and suffered second degree burns on his face and hands.  But he's ok and in do time it will clear up.  He sustain massive blisters on the arms and neck.

Ran out to Chubbuck and back.  Kind of tired and a slight headache and didn't have the best motivation.  I thinking my eating has been lacking this week causing fatigue.  Ran 12.22 miles at an overatll 7:18 pace.  Every mile was over 7 so there was no energy in the legs.

Ran with Barry at the top of Pocatello Creek rd from the Top of  the Pocatello Marathon Start.  We did 13.18 miles at a 7:17 pace in 1:36:06.  Very slick and quite a bit of snow for the first 4 miles so we had to take it slower and very careful.

Then a fun day of Christmas shopping.

11.30 miles in a down pour rain on Monday at a 7:23 pace in 1:23:27. Where my north face jacket was so heavy that the weight was heavier than my weight :-) . My toes were a solid red that it took a few minutes to getting the feeling back because of being so wet. This run was about getting the fitness in and challenging the body to push past the extreme conditions.  Last mile in 6:40.

12.32 cold miles today with the temperature in the teens. I had to put hand warmers in my gloves to keep them from freezing. My mustache was frosty during/when I was done. Cold days are hard to run alone. Ran out to ross park and turned around and went down side roads to get the distance.

Windy Today and somewhat cold again.  I ran 12.24 miles at an overall 7:30 pace in 1:31:49.  Did the run on Hawthorne Rd.; down Philbin rd. then down Chubbuck road and then back down Hawethorne Rd. and down Poleline Rd. This weather you just run whatever the speed the muscles will do when their stiff in the weather.

Ran with Barry out to Indian Hills then turned back down Ross Park all the way to my house.  We did 14.11 miles at an overall 7:27 pace in 1:45:12.  Nothing special just an easy run.  We were talking the whole way so the pace wasn't something of importance or even a thought.

Ran with the Pocatello runners club and Lowe Hawkes annual Christmas Eve run.  We ran to people's house caroling up on Satterfield and Fairview rd.  We went in houses Caroling as well as outside.  We started at Perkins and ended at Perkins.

Than Barry, Bill Mandler and I ran extra miles afterwards to get more.

Did 14.22 miles at an overall 1:58:16.

The Caroling was fun during the run and the whole group of 35 runners stayed together.  It was fun.

My First run on Christmas Day before the kids were up was for 3.11 miles at an overall 6:47 pace in 21:06.

Splits (7:32, 6:32, 6:15).  Merry Christmas,  Felt good running fast.  I had to hurry back to beat the kids from getting up at 7:30.  This is the second time I've ran before the kids get up on Christmas Day.

Ran with my daughter Dallyce on Christmas day (second run) for 4:02 miles at an overal 8:07 pace.  We took it easy talking the whole way.  What a nice run and start for Christmas Day.  What better way or have to run with your daughter on Christmas Day.  These are the defining moments you look back on in life.

Ran 9.10 miles in an 7:09 pace in 1:05:08.  I had such a spiritual experience running today.  I felt God's presence and prayed and cried just feeling his presence all over me.   I cried when I got home and couldn't keep from praising God.  RIght now I don't know what it means or what God was trying to tell me.

Last two miles were (6:48, 6:48).

Sorry again for not posting... just been busy and don't spend the couple of minutes it takes to post on the running blog.  Although I have all my totals and comments in my own running software journal.

Matter of fact as of today I'm at 3,437 miles for the year.  Not sure what the next few mileage days will bring.

Today:

Ran in a slushy mess for 12.21 miles at an overall 7:37 pace in 1:33:07.  It was a hard run with the heavy snow on the roads that were not plowed.  Just ran what I could and it felt like I did 20 miles.

Heavy Heavy snow fall and I ran my own personal Half Marathon Race in the worst weather. I made my own course.  Something I've planned to do when the weather was at its worst.  I ran 14.20 miles at an overall 7:27 pace in 1:45:46.  Good run on a course out to Chubbuck and back.  Most of the time running on top of white powder. Finished 202 at 3,474 miles.  Never thought possible after my accident two years ago.
