Hi Kory, A belated Merry Christmas to you and your family and a Happy New Year this week.

To answer your question. I think you fit in running just perfectly. I think you are a motivation to many. I think that the community on the blog and in general is improved by your presence, input, and example. I think another question is how does running fit into your life. From everything we've spoken about the few times we've met and from internet discussions on and off the blog I think running is something that fits in and helps center your life. I believe that your faith and family hold center stage (as they should) but that running helps give you something else to focus on to help your body and give you another source of relaxation. I hope I'm not reading too much in to the change in the blog title and I hope these opinions are well received.

Adam - Thanks I really do like to run and want to be an individual that inspires others to run as well. This next year for me is up in the air. My wife really doesn't want me racing because of the obsessive behavior I have when I do so. Because it's a full throttle 100% of being serious. I do at times take it too serious and go overboard with the running even when I'm hurt or sick. But that's me and it's hard to change.

I would like to see what the body will do the first of the year health wise and I'll go from there.

I appreciate the opportunity to know you. You helped me set my PR in the Pocatello marathon a couple of years ago by a comment you made to me that put a fire in me. The comment stuck with me during the race. I don't know if I told you that or not, but I'm being flat-out honest. Thank you.

Understand on both accounts. My wife only wants me to run one marathon a year because she says when I'm training we are all training. Thank you for the kind words about the marathon but you are the one who got the job done.
