Very cold this morning at 34 degrees. I still wore shorts with a singlet, and put on my arm warmers and gloves. The quads were not really sore today, and I felt really good. I'm glad I was real sore the last few days, because I knew I was more aggressive and pushed myself better in the marathon. I ran 9.2 miles at an overall 7:25 pace in 1:08 going down Hiline Rd, then turning on Yellowstone, then turning Poleline, and then turning on Alameda Rd. Finally turning on Mckinley Ave. I probably will only do single runs the rest of the week to get a good recovery, and not try to push back fast into the training cycle like I usually do. Now I just need to figure out what I want to run in October. I'm definitely leaning not running TOU which I've ran the last two years. (Asics Trainers 13 - 311 miles)
