I ran at the camp spot at South Mink Creek up the road, down a road called Garden Creek Rd. that opened up to a huge cornfield for miles. It was absolutely beautiful and it was an awesome run to be out there with nothing around you but mountains and corn fields. Then I turned around and ran back to camp after 5 miles. I ran 10.3 at an overall 6:58 pace in 1:11. I wasn't going to run, but my wife allowed me to knowing how beautiful I thought it was going to be. After the run we packed up and headed home. We only stayed two days. Evening: We took the kids swimming at the Ross park swimming complex, and I did 20 laps in the pool equaling a mile. I'm not going to count it as running because it just doesn't seem right.
