Very cold morning at 20 degrees I really had to bundle up warm.  Last year I had more weight on me so I think this year I'm going to hate the cold.  I ran 10.61 miles at an overall 7:09 pace in 1:15.  Mostly flat course;  I ran out by highway 30, then down Yellowstone Rd. then where ever I could think to go to extend the run out.  Really no sort of training on this run I just ran by feel.

Lunch:

Thought about running on my lunch hour, but I had a nasty headache, because of lack of sleep.  We had a gunmen running around our neighborhood last night that the police were trying to catch.  At one point he was in our yard, so my wife and I were up because the Cops were everywhere.  By midnight they still didn't have him in custody yet.  We didn't want to go to bed knowing that someone's running around the neighborhood with a gun.

Anyway,  I did 300 sit-ups and 200 push-up in my office at lunch.   I needed the rest from running anyways and don't need to pile on the miles this week.

Wow...crazy night! We had a similiar experience last night as well. We heard a loud "boom!" and within seconds police cars were circled around our home (like 6-7 cars). We looked out the window and saw a car in the middle of our back yard and then 3-4 police dogs were set loose. This was like 2am. Within 3-4 minutes there was a guy and girl in handcuffs. Apparently, they were after 4 different stolen cars and one landed in our yard! Pretty nuts!

Dang you guys, what are you doing to draw these types to you? I am glad you are all alright. Was it a full moon last night as well? :-0

Likewise...living in a small town, it's a reminder to keep our doors bolted at night and it also reminds me not to take a single day of life for granted. So, did they catch the guy?

Rockness18 - We listened to the news last night and nothing was even mentioned about it so I don't know what's going on. But I've been really cautious around our house since this event. My daughter's found out about it and asked us if everything was going to be okay.

Our oldest found out about the incident as well. Fortunately all four involved were caught. I wish the same for you.

Rockness18 - I'm really astonished that they didn't mention it on the news yet. It might be that they need to get evidence before making it public... not sure.
