This morning I trained with a friend/cousin "Barry" on the blog that's running the fun Pocatello Half. Marathon on November 1st.  I will be running it also, and try to run a 1:14..  His goal is to run it in 1:30.  This morning I got up at 5am and we drove to the top of the Pocatello Marathon course and ran the back side.  It was around 29 degrees with snow and wind but it wasn't too bad.  We ran 14.04 miles in 1:47 at an overall 7:38 pace ( I exactly ran an extra mile).  Barry is doing a good job and I think 1:30 will be a breeze for him.

Are you going to run a 'redemption' marathon in the next couple of months?

What HM is that? Is it a race or a training run? Tell me more and I might join you!

Jeff - its actually a fun run not an official race. Were people are going to dress up in skirts (which is the theme) because it's the day after Halloween. The best dressed person gets a price.

I'm running it for fun, probably pacing Barry to get a 1:30. There's no awards and no official aid stations, but they will have one I believe The site explains more. I just thought it would be fun to do since I've never really ran a half marathon, but this won't be an official half marathon.

Here's the site

Little Bad Legs - I'm thinking of running the P.F. Chang Rockin Roll marathon in Arizona in the middle of January. Then after that I might take a major break from running.
