May 19, 2012 Tommy Vaughn Half Marathon 1:26:34  3rd Place 

Marathon Debut form my accident some date (unknown) 

September  1, 2012  Pocatello Marathon  2:54:57 6th overall

November 3, 2012 Just Cuz Half Marathon 1:19:04 second place overall.  (what a difference a year makes)

 


Long-Term Running Goals:

Worship the Lord and praying early in the mornibgs and keep doing that. Staying humble and desperate for the Lord and praying for end-time revival for America.

My Long Term goal is to just run whatever I can.

Hebrews 4:16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Ran up to Satterfield Hill from my house, and climbed it then turned around and ran back home. Very easy run for taper. 6.51 miles at an overall 7:19 pace in 47:42.

Did some sit-ups and push-ups at lunch as usual.

Breakfast:

Bowl of Oatmeal plain and blueberries with some crunched up Special K Original cereal mixed in. Also added a little bit and milk.

One piece of wheat bread.

Snack:

Half Sunbelt Fruit and Grain cereal bar Apple Cinnamon bar.

Half Apple

Lunch:

Dannon Yogurt mixed with cereal

Bagel with my special spread mixture (jam, oatmeal, honey, cereal, raisins)

The rest of the Sunbelt Fruit and Grain cereal Apple Cinnamon bar.

Few carrots

 Snack:

Apple and Orange

Dinner:

New York Burrito Gourmet Oriential Chicken Wrap (Chicken, Oriential sauce, White Rice, Pineapples, Tomatoes, Onions, Honey Mustard sauce, Ketchup)

Half an apple again LOL and the home made spread is great Im gonna try that....I also like brown bread, banana..jame and peanut butter sandwiches LOL

Great for holding the pace... I really struggle with tapering....and have to test myself
