Great devotion this morning with my wife about how we need to be united as one and support each others weakness and strengths.  If you think about it, Christ loves us through all our faults and helps us when we call upon him, and he doesn't back away when we struggle.

Morning run:

Temperature 7 degrees and my hands were so cold I couldn't feel them when I got home.  They hurt so bad, it took 20 minutes before I could feel them.  I have very bad circulation in my hands for some reason.  Their always cold.   Anyway, I ran 13.3 miles at an overall 7:00 pace in  1:32.  I ran longer today because I might not get a chance to run tomorrow because I have to work all night tonight starting at 11pm to put on my security patches.

I'm glad I'm not training for anything right now because with my work schedule and other changes in my life I really don't need too.

Kory, I think you hit your cell phone a few minutes ago. I just got a phone call but there was just a discussion going on, no one said anything to me. When I looked it up on-line your name popped up. Hope all is well and that you are enjoying your current change of focus.

Thanks Adam sure enough I did. I'll have to give you a call one of these days for real and chat about life.

As always, great run :). Running is fun when you make your runs just about being in the moment. Sometimes when I'm out there on the road just cruising around on the bike, I lose track of time simply because I'm "in the moment". Wind in your hair, whispering of the trees as you go flying by, the call of birds.. makes you want to close your eyes until you do and realize that you cannot be a very godo cyclist with your eyes closed!

Keep up the good work. Glad to see everything is going well for you. I agree with your statements at the start of your entry. Christ doesn't back away when we struggle. If anything his presence is even more pronounced.
