Day-off.  I couldn't run anyway.  It seems from my first prognosis I have the same injury on my right foot as I did on my left foot during the Christmas time.  Its right above the heel on both sides. When I was running on the home treadmill Sunday on the last mile I started to limp because of the pain.  I'm thinking it might have been do to my shoes I wore on my long run being too wore out.  Who knows.

Lunch

200 sit-ups and 100 push-ups and air bridges.  My right foot still hurts.  I really don't know what to do for tomorrow if I should go to the gym and use the eplitical or try to run.  Or maybe swim for an hour.

Man, sorry to hear your other foot is bothering you. Hope you can get it on the mend and truly figure out what is causing the injury/pain.

More than half your shoes are above 500 miles. Is there a reason you don't retire them?

From wheakory on Mon, Feb 23, 2009 at 10:54:32

Jon - the shoes that I've been running on only have 250 miles on them that I've been rotating each day (Brooks Adrenaline 8 and Saucony Grid Trigon 5).

But I made the mistake thinking I could get one more long run out of my Saucony Tangent 3. My initial thought was not to wear them, but I love them so much I wanted one more run. I should have went with my initial thought. The other shoes I only run in for real short distances.

Jeff - It's just not my year... and God has other plans. I'm okay with that and have a good attitude. I've already accomplished a lot.

Sorry about the injury. Take it easy and embrace some crosstraining for a while.
