After running 20 miles yesterday I at least wanted to run half of that today. That was the plan anyway. I didn't get much sleep last night because we stay out till about 1am for a family get together bonfire, and it was a lot of fun. I woke up real tired about 8:20 and started my run almost at 9am. It was already 55 degrees and hot. I was real tired and it took about 4 miles to start getting into the run. I did a 2 mile loop around my house twice to warm-up and see how I felt in case I wanted to bag the run. But after the 4 miles everything felt good so I ran 12.3 miles at an overall 6:59 pace in 1:26. I could have went on longer but I have my daughter's soccer game.

Overall it looks like you had a great week. To think you were running Ogden two weeks ago today!!!

Kory, awesome runs and it sounds like the knee is surviving some awfully strong runs. Hopefully the knee will continue to improve. Great work.

Adam - not a bad week at least I hit 70 miles the knee wasn't bad during the run. I hope the pain or discomfort goes completely away.

Paul - Thanks Paul. The knee is doing good, but I really need to test it on some speed workouts.

Yeah I agree with Paul! You are putting serious miles in!@ :) Glad to hear the knee holds up well over the distance. I'm sure it will for speed work too. Just remember to do a nice warmup and stretching before hand!
