I paced the 1:30 group for my American Flyers Race Pacers. I could feel my legs right from the start. I was a bit ahead of time to mile 8 and then this serious head wind came in and slowed me down more than I could handle with all I had to stay on track. I missed it by 1:50 which made me a little upset but It was nice to help those around me try to bust it on a hard day. Fun course and very scenic.

That's just pennies and change:) So didn't you run a race the day before or something?

I attempted a marathon and actually lead to my breaking point of mile 20. Yes I'm crazy.

That's nuts. I think all of us have burnt out this year. We all need to stop running for a while and take a boating trip to somewhere in Mexico.

Good run BTW!

Saw you finish but yelled out the wrong name. Must have been the wind blowing clear thoughts out of my head. My wife ended up going out with your 1:40 guy but fell off when the hills started. The early splits were a bit fast for even effort but I guess the goal was to get some extra time in the bank before the hills and wind.

If you could hold the 1:30 pace I am glad I didn't sign up for leading the 1:30 pace group. Things happen, sounds like it was a tough day.
