I went to the Riverton Park and ran the Half marathon Course with a ginormous group that showed up! I posted on Facebook and Dailymile and I was surprised to see how many came out. I think we had a total of 33 runners.  Very fun day! I ran in a group of 12 guys that were running a progressive run from 7 pace to 5:40ish by the end. Jake K., Scott K., Dan V., Tony, Fritz V., Brian F., from the frb were in the group. A lot of us are going to Boston this year so it was fun to get to know them! I had the BBK group that showed up as well to add to the numbers.  I had some stomach issues by mile 12 to deal with, but I kept close to those pushing. They then went for a 6 mile jaunt to finish their run but there was no way I could go anymore. It was good to see Lisa Dudley, the race director show and I was able to introduce some of the pacers that came out to run today to her.   I also saw Kelli and her hubby and Rachel W. who is also on dailymile to make sure im posting. lol  We talked about doing another run together in 2 weeks in American Fork Canyon.

Good run and nice seeing you this morning Walter. Still 2+ months until Boston - keep at it and you'll be where you want to be. That would be great if we can get the group together again in 2 weeks.

Funny that the run that was going to be just me and Walter practicing the Riverton half course turned into such a big group. It was awesome!! Thanks for helping advertise and organize things.

Rachelle. I didnt even get to run with you how ironic is that. See how facebook and the frb and Dm can be such a tool? :)

It definitely had to be some sort of record for a non sponsored group run at the beginning of February. We will have to get together sometime next week.

From Fritz on Sat, Feb 04, 2012 at 22:24:13 from 67.182.226.25

Good times yesterday what an amazing group. Really was good to put names and faces together and meet some fellow runners/bloggers. I know running with this group will help a ton with where I want to be . Plus it is such a fun group.

From Walter on Tue, Feb 07, 2012 at 21:06:12 from 24.2.69.110

prlman. Dont know your code name. Who are you? I like putting names to faces before I run because I suck at names when people approach me and say they know me from the blog but I only know a code name. lol

From prlman on Tue, Feb 07, 2012 at 21:54:44 from 208.54.4.176

Walter, its Paul Fulton aka prlman from the race pacers
