pm--6 D. K. Leavitt Morning Route, in the evening. Had another coyote sighting closer to home (near SCMS). He crossed about 50 feet in front of me and stopped on the other side of the road. I yelped, and he looked and moved a bit. As I kept on running, he continued to glance across the street, seemed to be looking for a buddy. I nearly got my run-with-a-coyote-on-Presidents'-Day dream.
The weather was beautiful as well. If 70 degrees in the afternoon is tempting, then 66 degrees after sundown beckons with a serpentine index finger. The evening was made even more perfect with the accompaniment of one of the most beautiful albums ever, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea.
