I decided that I would use a different route so that hopefully sidewalks would be more clear.  I didn't have to run in any ankle deep snow, but it was still slow because the sidewalks were spotty at best.  I tried to speed up in places where the sidewalks were clear, but it was hard to get anything good going, since clear patches lasted maybe 3 houses.  So pace was slow, but that was to be expected.

My #2 stress since I stopped blogging was that we have been unable to conceive (still).  In the beginning of November I had to learn to accept the fact that it wasn't going to happen.  So we did a lot of clearing out of baby stuff.  We gave our furniture (crib and dressers) to my brother, who is expecting a girl in March.  We are not 100% sure that we will or won't try again...but for now I'm back on the pill because that's my only chance of success, according to my doctor.  In theory when I go off of the pill my body will do what it's supposed to for a couple months, until it sputters to a stop again.

I wish I had looked into a crystal ball a long time ago.  I would have done a number of things differently.  But I know what they say about hindsight :)

Oh, and so not to leave this on a pity note:  now that I have an open room, I am getting a treadmill :)

Welcome back to faithful blogging. I admire your attitude about stress#2 ... I have had friends who were able to conceive once they did not stress about it anymore, I hope this works for you too.

Thanks, Bonnie (and for the congrats, too)! I need to catch up on your blog sometime in the next few days!

I wish that just relaxing would help, but I don't ovulate on my own. It's funny, too, because we I have two kids that we had absolutely no trouble conceiving. But my doctor suggested the b.c. thing, and I had been on it before and after kid 1. I never went on again after kid 2 because I never liked being on it in the first place. However, I'm glad we have an option if we decide that we want to try again because we are not keen on doing anything above and beyond to have another kid when two keeps us plenty busy!

So glad you are back!

I have a friend that thought they couldn't have kids and as soon as they decided to give up and buy the car of their dreams she found out she was pregnant. LOL It is like waiting for the pizza delivery man--he never shows up until you are in the shower LOL
