Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 17, and 18.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

2 miles. hood route, then home field advantage bathroom stop. then 2 on the trails. 

1/2 hour of bicycle in the morning. 1/2 hour of bicycle in the afternoon. 

surprise 4 pm run: 3 miles on legacy trail, right next to the sun.

I watched a Pixar documentary last night on Netflix. I was stunned to find out we were married a year and a half before Toy Story 1. I guess I had it in my head that I must have been a child, because it is a children's movie. Sigh. Old man is old.

10.7 miles. hood route to legacy trail over the SWOM bridge, double back to colonia, and back the same way. steady pace. at least 6 other runners out today. Soundtrack in my head was a Wham! medley. I'm not proud of that.
