Nice run down Hobble Creek canyon. Got a little tired the last couple miles but much better than 2 weeks ago and much better pace the last half.

Dandy run down Payson canyon. Felt pretty good today I think the endurance is slowly coming back and hopefully a little speed as well.

Had a pretty miserable long run on this warm morning. The opposite of last week. Lots of walking and whining and wimpiness the last few miles.

Another dandy Payson canyon run. Felt pretty good and pushed the last few roller miles.

Legs felt pretty good even with the Payson downhill yesterday. Maybe my hill legs-of-steel are just about there.

Drove up to top of Payson Canyon with Dan and Ken for some altitude and up/down hill training to help prepare for Nebo marathon. Those uphills at 9000-10000 feet are tough! Finished with some good nearly all downhill the last 8 miles. Felt much better than last week thankfully.

After the Saturday hilly run decided to give the legs a break from the extreme steepness of Loafer and instead ran up/down the more gentle inclines of lower Payson Canyon starting and ending at Peteetneet. Legs still heavy from Saturday but it wasn't too bad. Kept the pace nice & gentle overall average just under 9 min/mi.

Payson Canyon downhill run. Felt pretty good the first 8 miles but then the warm/muggy temps got to me and last 3 miles were no fun.

Ran with Dan mostly down Hobble with some up at the beginning. Crashed and burned so that last 6 or 7 miles were death march miles. I'm such a wimp in the heat. Looking forward to a much needed lower mileage rest week next week.

Nice St George heat run around 80 degrees when we went out at 5:30. Counting as easy miles but for me I don't think any miles are easy at any pace in the heat.

Loafer up/down run. Hadn't done this for 3 weeks and it was tough as ever. Had hoped I'd have more energy after the lower mileage week last week.
