This is my first run since the GV 50K last week. I finally did it....I took a break after a race. I've had this mentality that I always need to be running (even if it is short and slow). I had a lot of niggles and knew that I HAD to take some time to rest. And I did. YEAH! I also took a break from all things running....reading running blogs, FB and Instagram feeds, talking about running.
I certainly felt creakly this morning. And kind of fat and soft - I guess that happens when you don't run for 7 days!
