I'm just getting caught up on your blogs. Sorry about the calf aching. You were doing so well a week ago with a sub-8 pace!!! It takes so much patience to build the base miles. You are doing an excellent job paying attention to your body and keeping the crosstraining consistent and running easy! I'm hoping we can get together for a JRP run this weekend. :)

Thanks Smooth! I guess it was too soon for that kind of speed last week. I've been feeling somewhat discourage (I know....total whiner!!). I don't like that I have to register for Ogden by Thursday because I feel like I have to be hitting a certain mileage each week to be ready for May. No room for achy ankles and calves.
Then..... there is the whole prep-races to get ready for. I need some of your magic running skills! This recovery thing is taking WAY too long.
Wahhhhhh.....Maybe I just need to hit the slopes :) Or go to Italy.
Let me know about JRP....I would LOVE to go!

I vote for Italy! :) :) :)
I haven't signed up for Ogden either.
