Rest days are always good, I took yesterday off & had my fastest training run today! :) This has been a light mileage week for me, as I believe I was pushing my Achilles to the limit in April. Are you racing this weekend? I am doing a local 5k up here ... so I probably should not have run 8 hard today, but a longer good tempo run means more to me than the race.

yeah JG - light week for me too - for some reason. No racing until next month, although ATC track nights at Emory track are on Tuesday nights all month. Those are good speed tests. Good luck on the race this weekend!

Thanks Dale - I didn't miss the run honestly...

I hope you enjoyed the rest day. My cross training day paid dividends this morning when my legs felt better than they have in a long time.
