Hope everything is ok. Wish you were coming to St. Geoorge. I bet you'd do great.

I know it's easier said than done to do a marathon in another state. I don't know how some people can afford to do several out of state marathons every year. It boggles the mind.

Yeah I know it - I guess I just spend money on other things.
There are so many more headaches when doing a travel race. I like to roll out of bed and drive the morning of the race. Plus I'm pretty uptight the days before a big race. I'm not much fun to travel with, honestly.

I'm the same way. It's the point where I dread doing out of town races. The cost of hotel rooms, all the eating out, cost of gas, trying to find where to pick up packets, trying to find the start of the race....The list goes on and on.
I'm a creature of habit. I keep doing the same races over and over again because I know exactly where to go.
I'm thinking about doing the O.C. Marathon next may while we are on our vacation to Disneyland, but after looking at the map of where the race is, the roads looks SO confusing and I really hate getting lost trying to get somewhere in a different city. Very stressful.
