I've never been more pleased with a slow 4 miler.  It is so beautiful out that I really couldn't bear to go to the gym and look out of the window at the runners.  Plus I realize after 10 days (or so)of gym workouts, that I really hate it.  Maybe if it is a source of add on workouts it might be fine, but everyday will be, or would be, a struggle.

So I put on my old magic shoes and went for a run.  It was a slow run but dang it felt good to get out to my favorite route.  A little soreness but it was minimal and things fell good tonight.  I think I will jog my 1/2 on Sunday and just enjoy being out with the crowd.
