26+ mile bike ride to Stone Mountain, around the park a bit, and back - around 15 mph including time lost at traffic stops.
tired of getting passed by people on better bikes.

Nice ride Tim, and good job building your mileage last week! Your bike sounds similar to running in a pair of old Converse high tops, but look at the bright side, your legs are getting the same workout regardless of the speed you are traveling ... 15 mph is a great pace with traffic stops, I always stop my watch at those so I feel better about my ride! lol

thanks - yeah you are right about the equipment. there is a reason people ride on $1000 bikes...
I normally stop the watch at the lights too but didn't yesterday. either way it is just for a good honest effort workout.
once again, good job on the win yesterday!

haha - i have the same problem with people passing me on their fancy bikes. mine was $90 brand new at walmart, so you can guess how fancy it is :)

yeah Allie - I really hate that. It does keep me pushing my legs at least.
