Nervous about my 5K tomorrow - I PR'd here last year and now this year I'm going to  be happy just to average 6min miles.  I know I can run that fast, cause the last two weeks I have run that fast then slowed myself down so I could last the full race.  Maybe with the shorter race I won't have to do that.  We'll see.

683 miles on my current shoes - I guess I need to look for new ones.

Really sleepy this afternoon but I got myself out for a run today.  It was ok - uneventful at best.

Have fun. I wish I could utter those words, "I'm going to be happy JUST TO AVERERAGE 6 MIN MILES."

Sounds like your shoes are perfect racing flats now. :)

yeah Rhett - I think they are pretty well worn - but no aches and pains from them so I guess I can hold out until I find a good deal.

Good luck. I'm sure you'll hit that pace for the entire race.

Should be another perfect morning of racing temps, I say let the wheels spin, and hang on ... you can do anything all out for 17 minutes! lol

That is the greatest thing about a 5K, JG.

'tis done Slick- now it is on to the arts festival to drink an adult beverage or two and look at art we don't need or want!
