the kids had a playdate and my wife was working so I had a few hours to kill.  What else am I going to do but run?  I just took it easy and chugged along for a while.  My stupid watch buttons stopped working last night for some reason...so I timed it the old fashioned way.

How can you chug along at a 7:55 pace?

So ... what is the next race you have planned?

Very nice "chug-a-long." :)

on days like that, i always imagine myself as a train just chugging along - that not-fast-i-could-run-forever pace.

next race is on Sept 12th - a 10 miler. It will be a nice way to cap off the first 4 weeks of my marathon training schedule.

That must be a stinkin' fast train that you imagine!!! :)
